Since the AGV has a built-in battery, it was not suitable for production lines with short downtime operation cycles. In addition, since the stop accuracy is not high, there are problems such as a separate positioning mechanism is required when using it for the conveyor connection part, and it takes time to recover if it stops due to a battery failure. I had to have it.
Since this traverser is driven by 24V DC, it does not require a large power supply unit and can be safely stopped with low thrust (about 75N or less). In addition, accurate positioning with the conveyor connection is possible. Furthermore, one of the attractions is that the simple structure makes maintenance easy.
