We believe your control systems and production support personnel will also find it just as simple to use. The HNC robot controller is a firmware based robot controller which uses the teach pendant as the only set-up tool. (absolutely no robot motion code to be developed)

The only 'programming' necessary is completed by jogging the robot to an application point using the teach pendant and then assigning an address number, M-code and S-code to that position. Any of these application points taught in this matter may be referenced in the future by having the station controller, typically a PLC, issue a MOVE or NEXT command to the robot controller through interface. The path, speed and acceleration for the robot move will be dictated by the M-code and S-code assigned to the point during the teaching sequence.
